The consortium of IRRIWEST project held the project final meeting in Accra (Ghana) since 14th September  to 17th September (2016). The IRRIWEST Irrigation Advisory Service (IAS) is a multi-language web-based platform, available in English and French. On April 2014 the consortium of Irriwest project presented a request of amendment for the inclusion of ISRA (Senegal) in the IRRIWEST project. On July 2015 the European Union approved this amendment, so ISRA is now one of the consortium partners of the project, with Neiker, CSIR and CORAF/WECARD. This week was held at the headquarters of the West And Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF) the meeting for the launching of IRRIWEST Project. The three partners involved, CORAF, CSIR and NEIKER-Tecnalia, have agreed on the planning  and actions to implement for water use more optimized  and economic in Ghana and Senegal.
